Job Summary

Serving as the Accounting Subject Matter Expert, the full-time contract Odoo Accounting Consultant will lead the implementation of Odoo for a growing organization, collaborating closely with finance teams to optimize accounting processes in a primarily remote role with a preference for candidates in the Los Angeles area.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Accounting SME during the Odoo implementation, ensuring successful translation of accounting processes
• Collaborate with finance leadership to review workflows and recommend best practices for the new ERP environment
• Support the design, configuration, testing, and validation of accounting processes within Odoo, including training finance users

Required qualifications

• Strong accounting or finance background with hands-on experience in an Odoo ERP implementation
• Experience working closely with finance teams during ERP implementation projects
• Solid understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting
• Ability to bridge the gap between business users and the implementation team
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
