California Licensed Oncology Data Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oncology Data Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily abstraction of cancer cases into the cancer registry database
• Run and resolve EDITs prior to submission of cases to relevant registries
• Maintain a log of all records abstracted and submit cases to the State Central Registry as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with ODS Credentials
• 3 years of current abstracting experience
• 90% abstracting quality score required
• Experience with OncoLog and Epic
• Knowledge of cancer registry procedures and relevant coding standards
