California Licensed Outpatient Auditor

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time California Licensed Outpatient Auditor will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, and remediating coding compliance while training staff and ensuring data integrity in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits and reviews of coding practices to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Train coding staff and educate workforce members on proper coding and documentation
• Represent coding leadership in interdisciplinary meetings to optimize coding processes

Required qualifications

• Seven years of auditing experience in a large academic hospital system, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related area plus three years of auditing experience
• Thorough knowledge of audit profession standards and internal control systems
• Ability to analyze and perform moderately complex audit assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills for presenting sensitive information to diverse audiences
• Potential expertise in enterprise software and relational databases
