Job Summary
Supporting a busy California practice, the part-time California Licensed Paralegal will prepare legal documents, organize case information, and assist with court-related tasks, potentially in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with California court matters, including foreclosure and creditor-related cases
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents while tracking deadlines and filing requirements
- Maintain organized files and communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
Required qualifications:
- California Licensed Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience preferred
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department, particularly with California court matters
- Practical knowledge of California court procedures and filing requirements
- Experience with creditors' rights, foreclosure, or real estate matters is preferred
- Training or experience with legal document preparation and case management systems is a plus
