Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patent Attorney (AI/ML) to assist with patentability assessments and legal counsel in the biotech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the patentability of AI/ML advancements and provide legal counsel
• Guide technical teams on open source software and third-party patents
• Work part-time, approximately 16 hours per week, in a fully remote capacity

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an IP attorney, preferably in the biotech field
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their implications in IP law
• Ability to support software development teams with legal insights
• Relevant legal education and licensure to practice law
• Experience with open source software regulations and third-party patent issues
