California Licensed Patient Financial Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dynamic patient-focused environment, the full-time California Licensed Patient Financial Specialist will manage patient financial inquiries, oversee the accounts receivable lifecycle, and resolve complex billing questions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively contact patients regarding outstanding balances and clarify insurance benefits
• Optimize patient account collections through timely follow-up and accurate payment processing
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare call center or high-volume patient support environment
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, or healthcare revenue cycle functions
• 1+ years of remote working experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
