Job Summary
Owning the full payroll processing cycle, the full-time California Licensed Paymaster will manage client payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations while providing training and support to team members in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and calculate client timecards for compliance with federal, state, and union laws
- Compile payroll reports and manage payroll releases, including check distribution and accounting imports
- Provide training and day-to-day support to Payroll Administrators and Coordinators within the team
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in payroll or production accounting
- 2+ years of experience with entertainment union contracts
- Experience in the film and TV industry is a plus
- Ability to manage high-volume work with competing priorities under pressure
- Highly organized and accurate, with acute attention to detail
