Job Summary

Owning the full payroll processing cycle, the full-time California Licensed Paymaster will manage client payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations while providing training and support to team members in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and calculate client timecards for compliance with federal, state, and union laws
• Compile payroll reports and manage payroll releases, including check distribution and accounting imports
• Provide training and day-to-day support to Payroll Administrators and Coordinators within the team

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll or production accounting
• 2+ years of experience with entertainment union contracts
• Experience in the film and TV industry is a plus
• Ability to manage high-volume work with competing priorities under pressure
• Highly organized and accurate, with acute attention to detail
