Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Consultant - California Compliance to support complex payroll operations with a focus on California wage and hour compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute California regular rate of pay calculations, including overtime and commission processing
  • Oversee accurate timekeeping data management and ensure compliance with California wage & hour laws
  • Conduct payroll analysis and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations for alignment in payroll processes
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of payroll experience, specifically in California wage & hour laws
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required
  • Experience managing complex commission structures and manual payroll calculations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls
