California Licensed Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist for a temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll, including entries, audits, and post payroll reports for US and UK
• Handle payroll reconciliation, employee status changes, and various payroll-related tasks
• Provide reports for management and assist with audits and compliance documentation

Required Qualifications:

• BA in Accounting or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of payroll and general ledger accounting experience
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and employee labor laws
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; ADP software experience preferred
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
