Job Summary

A company is looking for a P&C Broker & Underwriter focused on the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with retail agency personnel and underwriters to ensure accurate account information
• Prepare and handle renewal accounts while soliciting new business from retail clients
• Manage up to 40 accounts weekly, prepare market submissions, and engage with carrier relationships

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in commercial insurance brokerage or production underwriting
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
• Wholesale or retail agency/brokerage experience required
• Must be able to pass the state exam and obtain an insurance license
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance products and services
