California Licensed Pediatric Therapist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (CA License) for a full-time evening position with summers off.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual, evidence-based mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students
• Conduct initial mental health assessments, diagnose, and create treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with the care management team and ensure timely documentation and adherence to guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children
• Ability to obtain a fingerprint (FBI) criminal background check upon hire
• Strong technological skills and willingness to gain licensure in other states as needed
• Bilingual proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, or others is a plus
