California Licensed People Operations Manager

Job Summary

To enhance the employee experience, the full-time California Licensed People Operations Manager will manage benefits administration, oversee leaves of absence, and execute company culture initiatives for both remote and hybrid teams, while collaborating closely with the People Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing approachable guidance
• Manage leaves of absence and benefits administration, collaborating with external partners as needed
• Plan and execute company offsites and virtual events to foster connection among teams

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in People Operations or Human Resources
• Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms, with Rippling experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage compliance administration and multi-state employment law
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
• Based in the San Diego, CA area with the ability to be in-person 2-4 days per month
