Job Summary
Seeking a full-time, remote California Licensed People Specialist, the role focuses on managing employee leave programs, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation claims while providing strategic insights and support for workforce planning.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the interactive process for employees and managers navigating various leave types and implement reasonable workplace accommodations
- Oversee vendor management of third-party administrators and collaborate with workers' compensation carriers for claims management
- Generate and analyze leave metrics to support compliance tracking and organizational strategy
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Active Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification
- Minimum of three years of experience in US disability/leave administration or HR compliance
- Strong understanding of federal and state disability and paid family leave laws
- Hands-on familiarity with California statutory leave and state disability programs
