Job Summary
To support pharmacy auditing efforts, the full-time California Licensed Pharmacy Auditor will review and analyze pharmacy claims data, conduct outreach to pharmacies for billing verification, and utilize knowledge of pharmacy operations to ensure accurate billing practices while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyze pharmacy claims data to identify potential billing errors or abuses
- Conduct telephonic outreach to pharmacies to verify and correct billing claims as needed
- Collaborate with fellow auditors to meet assigned goals and recovery targets
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in state of residence
- Active and unrestricted National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB)
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy, PBM, or specialized pharmacy
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, including creating and updating documents and spreadsheets
