Job Summary
To support patient care initiatives, the part-time California Licensed Pharmacy Coordinator will provide clinical and technical support under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, coordinating ongoing care and treatment plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care as directed by clinicians and document pertinent patient information in the electronic medical record
- Assist clinical pharmacists in resolving medication-related issues and participate in wellness programs for patient transitions and medication reviews
- Exhibit superior customer service skills while collaborating with healthcare team members and managing incoming patient communications
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- 1+ years of experience in customer service
- 1+ years of experience with medical and pharmacy terminology
- Basic proficiency in Windows and MS applications (Word, Excel)
