Job Summary

Working remotely within California, the full-time California Licensed Pharmacy Coordinator will manage medication prior authorizations, support ambulatory care pharmacy services, and facilitate patient access to medications through various assistance programs.

Key responsibilities
  • Gather required information and prepare initial assessments for patients regarding prescribed medications and access challenges
  • Research and identify options for patients to secure medication access, including prior authorizations and assistance programs
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and manage renewals of medications and eligibility for assistance programs
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Demonstrable experience with pharmaceutical/drug assistance programs
  • Experience in pharmacy or medical insurance coverage
  • Related work experience in a retail pharmacy, healthcare clinic, or hospital environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
