Job Summary

A company is looking for a Benefits Investigations Pharmacy Technician to support specialty pharmacy patient population growth and conduct benefits investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform benefits investigations and document outcomes using approved systems
  • Research patients' medical records to identify insurance coverage and current medication regimens
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care and participate in process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • State license required; national certification from PTCB preferred but not mandatory
  • Commitment to obtain required licensure if not currently held
  • Ability to navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Pharmacy Dispensing Systems (PDS)
