California Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Supporting the Clinical Pharmacy Team, the full-time California Licensed Pharmacy Technician will assist with pharmacy utilization, medication management programs, and quality improvement initiatives while working remotely in California.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacy Team in achieving CMS/HEDIS Quality STAR measures by targeting patients with chronic conditions
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to address gaps in care and improve healthcare outcomes under pharmacist supervision
- Document clinical activities and communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding clinical programs and pharmacy benefit management
Required qualifications
- California State Board Licensed Pharmacy Technician
- High School Diploma and 1 year of pharmacy-related experience (Retail or Managed Care)
- Experience with CMS/HEDIS Quality STAR measures is preferred
