California Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Supporting the Pharmacotherapy Clinic, the part-time California Licensed Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with patient communication, care coordination, and medication management in a remote setting with potential for future hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine patient check-ins to monitor therapy experiences and support adherence to treatment plans
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits while managing clinical monitoring schedules
• Assist pharmacists by gathering patient information and maintaining clear documentation to support continuity of care

Required qualifications

• California Licensed Pharmacy Technician with at least 1 year of experience; 5-8 years preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with healthcare professionals in a medical clinic setting is a plus
• National certification as a CPhT or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word
