Job Summary
To enhance patient care and optimize outcomes, a California Licensed Pharmacy Technician will engage in a part-time, temp-to-hire role, making outbound and inbound calls to patients, providers, and pharmacies while accurately documenting interactions and resolving medication-related issues.
Key responsibilities
- Engaging patients over the phone to explain clinical programs and benefits related to medication management
- Managing a consistent volume of calls while meeting performance metrics for outreach and documentation quality
- Documenting all interactions and escalating health-related issues to pharmacists as necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field preferred; healthcare certification (e.g., Certified Pharmacy Technician) is a plus
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and medication names (brand and generic)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and comfort with contact-center tools
- Ability to work 40 hours/week within specified operating hours, including occasional Saturday shifts
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and attention to detail in documentation
