California Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support a dynamic clinical pharmacy team, the full-time California Licensed Pharmacy Technician will assist with medication management programs, improve pharmacy quality, and engage in patient outreach while working remotely on a 6-month contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Pharmacy Team on CMS/HEDIS Quality STAR measures for patients with chronic conditions
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to address gaps in care and improve healthcare outcomes under pharmacist supervision
- Document clinical activities and communicate with healthcare staff regarding clinical intervention programs
Required qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- High School Diploma and 2-3 years of pharmacy-related experience
- Preferred: Experience with CMS/HEDIS Quality STAR measures
