California Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support patient care continuity, the full-time California Licensed Pharmacy Technician will place outbound calls to physician offices for prescription refill authorizations, ensuring timely and compliant communication in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to physician offices to obtain verbal authorization for prescription refill renewals
• Document refill-related information accurately while maintaining professionalism in all communications
• Navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously to manage a high volume of calls (60-100 per day)

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support role
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service position with high-volume call center experience
• California Pharmacy Technician License and/or National Certification preferred
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to set up a computer and VPN at home
