Job Summary
A company is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) - Utilization Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chart reviews to evaluate the medical necessity of physical and occupational therapy services
- Provide informed recommendations to the Health Plan based on chart reviews and clinical expertise
- Collaborate in process and performance improvement initiatives, including training and auditing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting
- Unrestricted Licensed Therapist in California
- Prior experience in chart review and application of clinical criteria
- Previous experience with maintenance therapy services for children with chronic health conditions
- Familiarity with Kentucky Medicaid Therapy Regulations
