Job Summary
To support the expansion of its clinical delivery infrastructure, the part-time California Licensed Physician President will oversee clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and professional supervision of an NP-led care model serving skilled nursing and home health patients in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as sole or majority shareholder, director, and President of state-specific professional corporations
- Provide clinical governance by approving clinical protocols, quality standards, and scope-of-practice policies
- Oversee credentialing, peer review, and clinical quality committees while maintaining Medicare enrollment for the professional corporation
Required qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain licensure in additional target states
- Active, unrestricted DEA registration
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred
- Current Medicare enrollment with no revocations, opt-outs, or payment suspensions
- Experience supervising NPs or serving as Medical Director in post-acute, SNF, home health, or telehealth settings
