California Licensed Platting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platting Manager to join their team in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on survey mapping projects and services
• Prepare and review subdivision maps and coordinate with clients and government agencies for the plat recording and permitting process
• Manage projects, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent extensive experience in land planning and platting
• Ten or more years of experience managing survey mapping projects preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in an architectural, construction, or civil engineering environment with exposure to real estate development or permitting
• Strong knowledge of mapping and surveying principles and practices
• Land Surveyor license preferred and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
