Job Summary
Providing professional podiatric expertise, the full-time Medical Reviewer (Podiatrist) will review podiatry-related medical records, claims, and Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs) in a remote work environment to ensure compliance with clinical and coverage requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review podiatry-related medical records, claims, and Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs)
- Evaluate requested podiatric services against applicable coverage requirements and medical policies
- Document clinical findings and review decisions accurately and timely
Required qualifications
- Doctorate or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine, or Diploma in Chiropody
- Current California State license to practice Podiatry, in good standing
- One (1) year of experience in various clinical settings, preferably in podiatry
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to interpret medical records and treatment plans
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
