California Licensed Power Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electrical Engineer - Power to lead substation and power system projects for utility, renewable, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design for medium- and high-voltage substations and oversee power system studies
• Serve as technical lead on various power projects and manage project delivery and execution
• Act as a key technical contact for clients and support business development efforts

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of electrical power engineering experience focused on utility or industrial substations
• Expertise in substation design and protection & control for MV/HV systems
• Proven ability to lead projects independently with scope, schedule, and budget awareness
• BS in Electrical Engineering (power emphasis preferred) and active PE license in California strongly preferred
• Experience interfacing with utilities, public agencies, and large clients
