California Licensed Power Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Power Systems Engineer who will assist engineers in conducting various interconnection studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing load interconnection studies and battery energy storage system charging table studies
• Review Generation Interconnection Requests to ensure technical data completeness for studies
• Create one-line diagrams, study reports, and review Generation Interconnection Agreements as needed

Required Qualifications

• 1 year or more of engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in PSLF and PowerWorld
• Experience with power system analysis studies, including power flow and short-circuit analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
