California Licensed Principal Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Project Engineer - Transportation Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform roadway engineering tasks including geometric design and project plan development
- Prepare engineering design plans, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with internal teams and external clients/agencies, and may supervise lower-level engineers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in roadway-related fields
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required, with the expectation to obtain a California PE license within 1 year
- Experience with Caltrans projects and knowledge of Caltrans standards is essential
- Proficient in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D
