California Licensed Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Principal Software Engineer in a full-time remote role, the successful candidate will design and develop products for Salesforce developers, enhance remote development environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the Salesforce Workspaces devcontainer base image and associated features
• Own and optimize Bazel build infrastructure, conducting performance analysis and collaborating with external vendors
• Develop and maintain backend services, ensuring security compliance and efficient workspace provisioning

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-stack software engineering, particularly with Nix and Bazel
• Strong background in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs
• Experience with workspace management and observability tools
• Familiarity with security compliance and supply chain management in software development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and lead technical initiatives
