California Licensed Principal Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Platform Systems Engineer (Test Automation Lead).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and operate hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) test environments, automating lab workflows
• Build and maintain robust deployment pipelines for embedded and edge systems, ensuring reliable updates
• Develop standardized internal tooling and simulation/replay pipelines to improve engineering team efficiency

Qualifications

• 10+ years in systems/platform engineering or embedded infrastructure, with experience in startup environments
• Deep expertise in Linux systems engineering and production-level troubleshooting for containerized environments
• Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and integrating lab instrumentation into automated test harnesses
• Familiarity with the NVIDIA Jetson ecosystem or deploying AI/ML workloads in challenging environments
