Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the California Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and complete prior authorization requests while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accuracy in processing.
Key responsibilities
- Review and complete prior authorization requests based on established criteria
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in prior authorization
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while processing each authorization request
Required qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state of residence
- Previous pharmacy experience in PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) or prior authorization adjudication preferred
- Smartphone required for log in verification
- Must have a high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload)
- Private work area required to ensure secure handling of confidential information
