Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Prior Authorizations Nurse (RN).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure prior authorization requests meet contractual requirements and are conducted using evidence-based standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
• Minimum of five years of experience in a patient care setting, including one year in Utilization Management or Case Management
• Working knowledge of managed care and related regulations
• Some knowledge of health care providers in the service area counties
