California Licensed Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

To support procurement operations, the full-time California Licensed Procurement Buyer will manage moderately complex purchase orders, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates the fulfillment of purchase orders by reviewing requisitions, placing orders, and resolving issues with suppliers
• Negotiates pricing terms and conditions with vendors, analyzing quotes to secure favorable contract terms
• Monitors vendor performance and compliance with contracts, fostering relationships and negotiating improvements as needed

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, distribution operations, or procurement
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role
• Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships preferred
• Two (2) years of experience negotiating contracts for goods and services preferred
