California Licensed Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

Managing moderately complex purchase orders, the full-time California Licensed Procurement Buyer will fulfill requisitions, negotiate pricing terms, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates the fulfillment or recall of requested items by placing and reviewing purchase orders
• Negotiates pricing terms and conditions with vendors and manages operational vendor performance
• Resolves issues with purchase order fulfillment and communicates updates to stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or procurement
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role
• Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships is preferred
• Two (2) years of experience negotiating contracts for the procurement of goods and services is preferred
