California Licensed Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

To support procurement operations, the full-time California Licensed Procurement Buyer will manage moderately complex purchase orders, negotiate pricing terms with vendors, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates the fulfillment of purchase orders by reviewing requisitions, placing orders, and resolving issues with suppliers
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms with vendors, applying strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
• Monitors vendor performance and compliance, fostering relationships and negotiating improvements as necessary

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or procurement
• At least one (1) year of experience in a leadership role
• Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships
• Proficiency in negotiation and vendor management strategies
