California Licensed Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

To support procurement operations, the full-time California Licensed Procurement Buyer will manage moderately complex purchase orders, negotiate pricing terms, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and fulfill purchase orders by reviewing requisitions, placing orders, and resolving issues with suppliers
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors to obtain favorable conditions for procurement activities
• Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contracts, fostering partnerships and negotiating improvements as necessary

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or procurement
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role
• Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships preferred
• Strong negotiation skills with at least two (2) years of experience in contract negotiations for goods and services preferred
