California Licensed Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

To support procurement operations, the full-time California Licensed Procurement Buyer will manage moderately complex purchase orders, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates the fulfillment of purchase orders by reviewing requisitions, placing orders, and resolving issues with suppliers
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms with vendors, leveraging market knowledge to secure favorable agreements
• Monitors vendor performance and compliance, fostering relationships and negotiating improvements as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, distribution operations, or procurement
• One (1) year of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports
• Proven experience in managing vendor contracts and relationships
• Experience negotiating contracts for the procurement of goods and services
