Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Procurement Specialist to provide administrative and coordination support across the procurement lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of the acquisition process, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely contract execution
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for procurement and manage supplier evaluations
  • Coordinate contract performance evaluations and manage customer and supplier inquiries regarding orders
Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Master's degree in Business, Acquisitions, Legal, or related field preferred with 6 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of California State Contracting Manual and procurement processes
  • Contracting Professional Certification (FAC-C Professional, DAWIA Level II or III, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in dynamic environments
