California Licensed Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

To support procurement activities in Sacramento, CA, the full-time California Licensed Procurement Specialist will oversee the acquisition process from initiation to contract closeout, ensuring compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate contracts and documentation
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for procurement and inventory management
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract obligations and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Extensive knowledge of California State Contracting Manual and procurement processes
• Contracting Professional Certification (FAC-C Professional, DAWIA Level II or III, or equivalent)
• Master's degree in Business, Acquisitions, Legal or related field preferred, with 6 years of relevant experience
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
