California Licensed Product Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide integrated legal review of new products and features for compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements
• Embed with product development teams to support engineering development throughout the product life cycle
• Act as a primary contact for cybersecurity-related legal activities and coordinate with various legal department members

Required Qualifications

• JD degree or equivalent; admission to the State of California Bar or other states
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a product attorney in a large, complex organization
• Experience in embedding within R&D teams and providing early risk management guidance
• Familiarity with product-related regulatory compliance requirements, including cybersecurity and intellectual property
• Understanding of legal issues within commercial contracts and cross-functional collaboration
