California Licensed Product Costing Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance product costing processes and systems, the remote Expert Product Costing Consultant will lead initiatives, develop cost models, and manage cost accounting activities while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product costing initiatives, including system implementations, and continuously improve processes through technology and best practices
• Develop detailed cost models and perform variance and margin analysis to support financial reporting and strategic decision-making
• Manage end-to-end cost accounting activities, maintaining compliance with US GAAP and IFRS

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in SAP CO-PC (Product Cost Controlling) and integration with relevant SAP modules
• Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in advanced cost analysis and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS) related to inventory and cost accounting
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industries with a solid understanding of production processes and cost flows
