California Licensed Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and draft contract language for policies and coverage enhancements
• Analyze and distribute information on insurance industry developments and regulatory compliance
• Conduct legal reviews of underwriting guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably California
• 7-10 years of legal experience in personal automobile products
• Strong understanding of personal auto insurance products and state regulatory frameworks
• In-house experience with an auto insurance carrier is strongly preferred
