California Licensed Program Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Program Attorney, the full-time hybrid role will lead the Legal First Aid training program, facilitating workshops and developing curriculum to empower community partners across the U.S. in addressing legal issues affecting low-income individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as lead facilitator for Legal First Aid certification trainings, both virtually and in-person
• Develop and improve training content, ensuring legal accuracy and cultural responsiveness
• Engage with a national network of certified providers, offering legal consultations and support

Required qualifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California licensure preferred
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience in relevant areas such as housing or immigration law
• Exceptional public speaking and facilitation skills with experience in adult education
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple training engagements
