Job Summary
Leading design efforts for small and medium-sized projects, the full-time California Licensed Project Designer will coordinate design presentations, manage construction documentation, and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, with a work schedule that includes remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate projects with team members and consultants to resolve conflicts and discrepancies
- Prepare complex plans, elevations, and details under supervisor guidance, and produce working drawings for various project phases
- Manage small projects, including work plans, budgets, schedules, staffing, and billing coordination
Required qualifications
- Architectural degree from an accredited university or equivalent proficiency
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in production and coordination of documents across all phases of architectural practice
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling in Rhino and Enscape
- Strong interpersonal skills for establishing productive relationships with team members and consultants
- Thorough understanding of applicable building codes for independent code analysis and compliance
