California Licensed Project Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of Energy Efficiency projects, the remote California Licensed Sr. Project Developer will manage energy audits, design energy conservation measures, negotiate subcontractor costs, and ensure project compliance with budgets and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Performs and supervises energy audits, modeling, and verification studies
• Provides guidance and leadership to junior staff and collaborates with engineering functions to recommend energy savings strategies
• Prepares energy-related project reports and ensures effective communication with clients and colleagues throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in project development
• Desired experience in Energy Engineering
• Familiarity with applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, Procore, and MS Project
• Proficiency in RS Means estimating and other industry-standard software is preferred
