Job Summary
To support rail operations, the full-time California Licensed Project Engineer will provide on-field and office engineering support, perform construction inspections, oversee project documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform construction and maintenance inspections, supervising Transdev rail operations
- Review bid proposals and specifications, coordinating bid preparation and contract management
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of railway engineering, including track design and alignment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Quantity Takeoff (QTO)
- Experience with construction project management and documentation
- Willingness to travel to domestic worksites (5-10%)
