California Licensed Project Engineer

Job Summary

To support rail operations, the full-time California Licensed Project Engineer will provide on-field and office engineering support, perform construction inspections, oversee project documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform construction and maintenance inspections, supervising Transdev rail operations
• Review bid proposals and specifications, coordinating bid preparation and contract management
• Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of railway engineering, including track design and alignment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Quantity Takeoff (QTO)
• Experience with construction project management and documentation
• Willingness to travel to domestic worksites (5-10%)
