California Licensed Property Accountant

Job Summary

Providing property accounting support for a commercial real estate portfolio, the full-time California Licensed Property Accountant will manage financial reporting, expense coding, and budget tracking in a hybrid role based in the Bay Area.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with property managers and operations teams on financial activities and expense coding
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for assigned commercial properties
• Prepare budget-to-actual reports and assist with annual budget preparation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of accounting experience in commercial real estate
• Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, CoStar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
• Solid understanding of GAAP and commercial real estate accounting principles
