Job Summary

Handling complex structural loss claims, the full-time California Licensed Property Adjuster will investigate claims, negotiate settlements, and present evidence in legal proceedings while working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Examine claims forms and records to determine coverages and set loss reserves
• Investigate claims by interviewing involved parties and obtaining necessary reports
• Negotiate settlements and control claims costs while maintaining compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of claims handling experience and completion of continuing education requirements
• Must be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions
• Strong analytical and mathematical ability
• Ability to deal effectively with challenging situations and people
