Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regional Property Leader - West.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of underwriters, delegating tasks and acting as a point of referral for issues
• Lead the development and execution of regional underwriting strategy, managing referrals and re-underwriting complex business
• Underwrite large and critical new and renewal accounts, negotiating terms with brokers and managing capacity proactively

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 11+ years of experience in underwriting profitable business within the line of business
• Expertise in risk assessment, pricing, and market management
• In-depth knowledge of regional and local insurance markets and competitor landscape
• Preferably a degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance Management, or Business Administration, along with professional insurance qualifications
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business
